It is required that all DDOS shared hosting clients use Rivalhost Global Protected Name-servers and highly recommend for all other DDOS clients to always rely on our DDOS name-servers to resolve your "A" record rather than setting it independantly at your registrar or authoritative host. This means in basic terms...just point your domain to your name-servers or the name-servers we supplied and remove any custom "A" records you may have set.

Why....?
Part of the strategy in good DDOS defense is being able to change IP's very quickly and outwit the attackers. In order to do this we set the TTL to 60 seconds on our network for your A record. This means we can seamlessly change IP's OR more importantly upgrade your protection on the fly.
